The band played as part of the Big Day Out festival on the back of Toxicity, Steal This Album. The band has not been together August 2006 with strong rumours they will never re-unite.

Description: The band was in Australia as a part of the inaguaral Big Day Out festival in support of their modern masterpiece Nevermind. To the surprise of many this was the band’s second visit down under after their initial visit in 1988 when they did a pub and club tour. On this tour the venues remained moderately intimate (at least for their festival side shows) with most of the gigs being held in theatres. This would have to be the most significant gig on this site and among the most impressive, Cobain is brilliant on vocals and Grohl shows signs of what was to come from him on the drums. If you were to download only one gig from this site this is the one I recommend you get.
