Description: A part of the band’s Elephant world tour. The band were co-headliners of the festival with Linkin Park. It was the first time the originally Brisbane based festival had been held in Sydney. Ironically it was also the very last time the festival was held anywhere. The entire gig was recorded and broadcasted on Channel V. Most of the best parts of the gig are included in the recording done by the radio station. The highlight of the show was Death Letter and obviously Seven Nation Army.

Description : The band performing songs of their debut album Frogstomp. For those of you not familiar with the band they were discovered in 1994 as three 14 year old high school students from Newcastle. The boys achieved instant global fame with their first song Tomorrow. Homebake Festival is dedicated to local acts and was in its early years then. Silverchair came on stage middle of the day as a support act, the band went onto headline the festival in both 1999 and 2006.

Description: This was Muse’s second visit to Australia on their Absolution world tour. Despite the band’s incredible popularity in Europe and UK they have only enjoyed moderate success down under. This was the bands biggest solo show to date in Australia playing to over 6000 fans. The three piece proved their brilliance live on stage at this gig. The band would not return to Australia for another 26 months.
